Fargesia murieliae ‘Blue Lizard’ (S)

Fargesia murieliae ‘Blue Lizard’ (S) is a clump-forming, non-invasive bamboo ideal for elegant, year-round screening and hedging. It forms dense, upright culms with fine evergreen foliage, creating a refined, rustle-free barrier that responds well to light clipping. Best grown in moist but well-drained, fertile soil, it does well in sun or light shade and benefits from shelter from cold, drying winds. Expect an eventual height of about 34m with a natural spread of roughly 23m if left untrimmed; it can be maintained narrower with routine thinning and light shaping.
