Ferocactus wislizenii var. herrerae (Sinaloa, MEXICO)

The Ferocactus wislizenii var. herrerae from Sinaloa, Mexico, is a powerful visual statement in the world of desert plants. Its massive barrel form, heavily ribbed and symmetrical, commands attention even from a distance. What sets this variety apart is its unusually dense spination, featuring bright reddish to deep amber spines that twist and arch with character.
