Anthurium fredmulleri is a very rare terrestrial Anthurium native to Guatemala, thriving in wet tropical biomes. The leaf blades are narrowly triangular-sagittate with a subvelvety to velvety texture when larger. Jay Vannini argues a well grown A. fredmulleri to be the most beautiful Anthurium species.

Native to: Anthurium fredmulleri is indigenous to Guatemala, where it inhabits wet tropical regions.

Water: Maintain consistently moist soil, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has adequate drainage.

Light: Provide bright, indirect light to mimic its natural understory habitat. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Humidity: This species prefers high humidity levels, ideally between 6080%. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, placing the plant on a pebble tray filled with water, or using a humidifier.

Temperature: Anthurium fredmulleri thrives in temperatures between 1824C. Protect it from cold drafts and avoid placing it near heating or cooling vents, as sudden temperature changes can cause stress.
