Abies koreana OBERON

Abies koreana OBERON is a compact, slow-growing conifer that captivates with its dense, rounded habit and refined structure. This dwarf Korean fir forms a sculptural dome of dark green, glossy needles that flash silvery-white undersides when touched by wind or sunlight. Its neat form and deliberate pace make it an ideal choice for rock gardens, container displays, or the architectural edges of formal beds. Gardeners admire its small stature and refined, almost bonsai-like appearance.

Midway through the season, Abies koreana OBERON may surprise with upright violet-blue cones that emerge above the foliage like small candles. These eye-catching cones, although smaller than on the species, add a vertical punctuation to its low dome. Combined with the textured needles, they bring strong visual contrast and interest through every season. This plant matures slowly, making it perfect for collectors who appreciate the long-term beauty of miniature conifers.
