Aglaonema ‘Red Zirkon’ is a Chinese Evergreen with broad, glossy foliage that carries an intense red-pink flush through the centre, graduating to dark green along the margins. The colour contrast is bold and consistent, and it holds well even in moderate light. It is a compact, upright grower with a bushy, self-branching habit that fills its pot without sprawling.

Origins
Aglaonema species are native to the tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia, where they grow as understorey plants in low-light, humid conditions. ‘Red Zirkon’ is a modern cultivar bred for its deep red-pink colouring.

Soil and Substrate
Our Jungle Potting Mix suits Aglaonemas well, providing a balanced peat-free blend with good drainage and moisture retention.
