Ariocarpus retusus MARUIBO x FRUMUDOSU is a striking, slow-growing cactus native to Mexico. It features a rosette of thick, triangular, and dark green tubercles that are almost spineless. The tubercles can grow up to 5 cm long, creating a star-like pattern. This form is particularly noted for its vibrant green color. It produces large, funnel-shaped white or pink flowers in the fall, which contrast beautifully with the dark green foliage. This cactus thrives in arid, rocky environments with limestone-rich soils, making it a favorite among cactus collectors.
