Asplenium antiquum, the Bird’s Nest Fern, forms a lush rosette of broad, glossy, apple-green fronds rising from a central crown like a leafy nest. Its smooth, undivided leaves give it a clean, sculptural, tropical look.

Origins
Asplenium antiquum is native to East Asia, including Japan, where it grows as an epiphyte on tree trunks and rocks in humid, shaded forests.

Soil and Substrate
Our Fern Houseplant Potting Mix is a peat-free, free-draining blend that holds gentle moisture around fern roots.
