Dwarf chartreuse leaves freckled with burgundy spots

Miss Muffet shows small, heart-shaped leaves with a lemonchartreuse ground colour speckled liberally with burgundy to darkpink freckles. Youll notice pale, pinktinged primary veins and a slightly puckered surface that gives the leaf texture and visible vein definition. Leaf blades are noticeably smaller than many caladiums, so the overall visual effect is a compact, brightly spotted mound rather than large, strappy foliage.

Caladium ‘Miss Muffet’ Tuber grows from a dormant tuber into a low, clumping plant with short petioles and a nonclimbing habit. Juvenile and mature leaves remain on the small side (commonly in the 1020 cm range) and the plant typically reaches about 2530 cm in stature, keeping its dwarf character rather than producing tall stems or split leaves (fenestration is not part of this selection).

Realworld ownership means enjoying a bold, colourful small container plant but accepting seasonal care: tubers go dormant and are lifted or stored in cool climates, and the tuber will rot if kept waterlogged. Handle with carelike other caladiums all parts contain calcium oxalate crystals and are irritating if ingested. Expect colour and spotting to shift with light levels and age; brighter spots appear under favorable light but direct sun can scorch the thin leaves.

Best for small pots, shaded balconies or a tray of mixed bulbs where compact size matters. Because these are supplied as dormant tubers, you plant them and wait for warm conditions and new shootsan economical way to add a highcontrast, speckled foliage accent compared with taller cultivars such as ‘Sea Foam Pink’ or redcentred forms like ‘Gingerland’.
