From early summer to early fall, this Clematis bears white blooms with plenty of charming nuance. With a plant form that leans instead of clings, Hakuree quickly forms a flowerstrewn surface in any gardenperfect for creating an eyecatching display along the front of a border garden or against a larger Clematis. Wispy, silvery seed heads appear in fall and winter for another few months of beauty. For a gorgeously unusual Clematis garden, plant with Hanajimi and Little Artist Clematis. Clematis integrifola ‘Hakuree’

In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the GREEN pruning category. These Clematis bloom on new vines that emerge from the ground each year or stems from near the bottom of older vines. Prune hard in the spring and as often as you like to encourage reblooming and keep the plant as tidy as you like.
