The hybrid cactus of Ferocactus wislizenii and Ferocactus longispinus showcases a robust, spherical or barrel-like shape, reaching up to 90 cm in height. It boasts striking spines, typically reddish to yellow, that can stretch up to 15 cm, lending a fierce appearance. The ribs are prominent, deeply grooved, and adorned with clusters of formidable spines, adding architectural interest. In summer, it produces stunning, funnel-shaped flowers in shades of yellow or orange, contrasting against its green, often bluish skin. This cactus is an ideal specimen for arid and sun-filled landscapes.
