Peperomia tetraphylla ‘Hope’

Peperomia tetraphylla ‘Hope’ is a compact trailing plant with fleshy, semi-succulent foliage arranged in groups of three or four at each node. The small, round leaves are smooth, slightly cupped, and pale green with faint lighter striping. It trails neatly from a shelf or hanging planter and stays manageable without regular pruning. Drought-tolerant and easy-going, it suits bright spots where other trailing plants might dry out too quickly.

Origins
Peperomia tetraphylla is found across tropical and subtropical regions worldwide. ‘Hope’ is thought to be a hybrid, possibly involving P. deppeana and P. quadrifolia, selected for its neat trailing habit and round, succulent leaves.

Soil and Substrate
Our Simply Houseplant Tropical Potting Mix provides a well-draining, peat-free base. Peperomias are sensitive to overwatering, so allow the substrate to dry out between waterings. A small pot suits this plant; it does not need frequent repotting.
