A crown jewel of the Hemerocallis world, Persian Ruby is a must-have for any daylily lover. Spoon-shaped petals burst open with contrasting yellow and dark, blood-red coloring. This variety contains more purple than the comparable Ruby Spider daylily, with a sharper contrast on the petals. The high bud count allows for prolific blooming all season, bedazzling visitors to your garden with plenty of flowers that open to nearly eight inches in width. Enjoyed by butterflies and hummingbirds as well.

Like most daylilies, Persian Ruby shrugs off tough environmental conditions, including drought, pollution and salt. Daylilies also grow well on sloped surfaces. Hemerocallis ‘Persian Ruby’
