Picea glauca Christmas Star

Christmas Star is a compact, conical spruce with dense, fine green foliage that creates a neat and attractive appearance throughout the year. Its naturally symmetrical shape makes it an excellent choice for decorative pots, rockeries, courtyards, and bonsai training. During the festive season, it shines as a living Christmas tree, bringing a traditional touch to indoor and outdoor displays.Unlike cut Christmas trees, Christmas Star can be enjoyed year after year. When the festive season is over, move it outdoors to a sheltered, shady position and gradually reintroduce it to filtered sunlight. It grows well in containers and can be repotted into larger pots as it matures, making it a long-lasting feature for patios and balconies. Alternatively, it can be planted in the garden where it will develop into an attractive specimen tree.

Soil: Grows best in well-drained soil.
Conditions: Thrives in full sun or part shade. Frost tolerant. Keep moist and gradually reintroduce to full sun after Christmas.
Size: Itll grow 1.3m tall in the first 10 years.
