Our value pack of 10 bare root strawberry runners is a great way to establish a productive strawberry patch. Planted during the dormant season, bare root plants quickly develop strong root systems ready for vigorous spring growth and abundant harvests.

A favourite among home gardeners and commercial growers alike, ‘Chandler’ is renowned for producing large, exceptionally flavourful strawberries. Developed in California in 1983, this early- to mid-season variety delivers heavy crops of bright red fruit with rich red flesh extending deep into the berry, giving it the outstanding sweetness and flavour that has made it famous.

Unlike varieties bred for firmness and long storage, ‘Chandler’ was developed with taste in mind. The result is a juicy, aromatic strawberry that’s best enjoyed fresh from the garden.
