Highly productive with superb colour and flavour, this crack resistant salad tomato is popular with Chef’s and home gourmets for its versatility in the kitchen and ease of harvest and cultivation in the garden. A great all rounder for gardeners of all levels.Developed by tomato breeder Fred Hempel from California, USA, this unusual tomato is described as a saladette because of its suitability to fresh salads and salsa. Harvest when fruit softens slightly – but ultimately let your taste buds guide you as colour will not help you to determine harvest time.
