From northern NSW, this rainforest native with a rounded crown is a well-behaved street tree that copes with salty winds, drought and poor drainage. Whilst its natural range is the subtropics, it can grow in any frost-free area throughout Australia. Growing to a moderate-sized backyard tree with dense lush evergreen foliage and decorative seeds in summer. For the best specimen, prune to a single clear trunk when young and you’ll enjoy years of cool shady afternoons sitting under your Tulipwood. Fast growth rate.
