Harvest/Flowering Date– July-Oct

How to:

Sow seeds in drills 3cm (1″) deep and 10cm (4″) apart in rows 30cm (12″) apart
Seeds can be sown in cell trays but need to be transplanted out as seedlings (a less reliable method)
Each ‘seed’ produces several seedlings which will need to be thinned out when they reach 3cm (1″) high
To produce baby beets, thin seedlings to just 5cm (2″) apart then pull them when they are about the size of a golf ball
